Obverse description Draped bust of Lucilla facing right, her hair elaborately styled and swept back, rendered in the provincial Greek manner characteristic of Lydian civic coinage of the Antonine period. The effigy displays drapery at the truncation, with the Greek legend ΛΟΥΚΙΛΛΑ ϹΕΒΑϹ disposed around the periphery of the flan. The portrait exhibits the refined stylistic conventions typical of the Sardis conventus workshops, with a dotted border visible along the coin's edge.
