| Beschrijving voorzijde | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, seen from the rear, rendered in the typical Alexandrian provincial style. The effigy occupies the central field of the flan, with the paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. The surrounding Greek legend identifies the emperor by his full imperial titulature, divided across the field. The strike is weak in areas, consistent with the irregular flan characteristic of Alexandrian bronze coinage of this period. |
