| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, rendered in the provincial style typical of Judaean civic coinage. The effigy displays the characteristic beard of Hadrian, with the laurel wreath clearly articulated around the head. The Greek imperial titulature legend surrounds the bust in the field, reading Α ΚΑ ΤΡ ΑΔΡΙΑΝΟϹ. The flan is irregular, as is characteristic of hammered provincial bronzes of this period. |
