Obverse description Bare laureate head of the emperor Claudius facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek portrait style with restrained detail. The bust is truncated at the shoulder and occupies the left-centre of the flan. A partial Greek legend surrounds the effigy, partially off-flan due to the irregular striking.
