Additional information

Tium was a minor Bithynian coastal settlement whose civic coinage under the Severan dynasty was produced in small quantities and rarely traveled far. The city's issues for Caracalla are among the scarcest of its output, with the ΤΙΑΝΩΝ ethnic confirming local civic pride in a mint that struck opportunistically rather than systematically.
