Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of the Demos facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of the Conventus of Sardis. The bust displays a wreath of laurel leaves framing the idealized male head, with drapery visible at the truncation of the shoulder. The Greek legend ΔΗΜΟϹ appears in the field, identifying the personification of the civic populace of Aezani. A beaded border encircles the design.
