Obverse description Bare-headed bust of Antoninus Pius facing right, with naturalistic portraiture typical of Antonine provincial coinage. The emperor is depicted with characteristic short beard and close-cropped hair. The surrounding circular Greek legend reads ΑΥΤο ΚΑΙϹΑΡ ΑΝΤΩΝΕΙΝοϹ, distributed around the field. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show heavy encrustation consistent with a hammered provincial bronze issue.
