| Obverse description | Bare head of Heracles facing left, depicted in the characteristic style of Carian provincial coinage of the mid-third century AD. The facial features, though worn, retain the heroic physiognomy associated with the demigod, with a dotted border visible along the coin's periphery. No legend is present on the obverse, consistent with the abbreviated civic coinage of Tabae under the joint reign of Valerian I and Gallienus. |
