Obverse description Laureate head of the emperor Trajan facing right, rendered in the typical provincial style of Phrygia. The portrait features the characteristic short-cropped hair beneath the laurel wreath, with visible neck truncation. A Greek imperial legend surrounds the effigy along the periphery of the flan, partially legible due to surface corrosion. The die work reflects local civic workshop production characteristic of the Conventus of Apamea.
