| Obverse description | Bare head of Tiberius facing right, rendered in a provincial style with simply modelled hair swept across the crown. The portrait presents a mature, unidealized effigy with abbreviated drapery at the truncation. The Greek legend ΣΕΒΑΣΤΟΣ (Augustus) runs around the periphery of the flan, partially legible due to the irregular striking surface. |
