| Obverse description | Laureate or bare-headed bust of an emperor, tentatively attributed to Septimius Severus, draped in cuirass and paludamentum, facing right and seen from the rear. The portrait is rendered in a provincial style characteristic of the Mysian mint at Parium. A partial legend runs around the periphery, though the flan's small size and irregular striking have obscured much of the inscription. The overall execution reflects the modest production standards typical of small Æ coinage issued under the Severan dynasty in the Conventus of Adramyteum. |

| Reverse description | A priest ploughing to the right, guiding a yoke of two oxen in a scene depicting the ceremonial foundation rite (sulcus primigenius) of a Roman colony. This type is a well-known colonial emblem of Parium, referencing its status as a Roman colonia. The figures are rendered in low relief with the characteristic flat, slightly worn style of provincial bronze coinage. The legend, largely illegible on this specimen, would typically record the colony's name or title. The reverse field shows significant wear and flat striking consistent with the low weight and small module of the flan. |
