The figure is rendered in a simple provincial style typical of small Carian civic bronzes of the 2nd century AD. The reverse legend, naming the city of Antiocheia, runs around the periphery and may appear in retrograde orientation; the field and legend are heavily worn and partially obscured by patination. |
