Obverse description Radiate head of Emperor Hadrian facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of the Conventus of Sardis. The radiate crown is visible above the portrait, with the legend encircling the bust in Greek characters. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, consistent with provincial bronze coinage of the early 2nd century AD. A suspension hole is visible at the lower right of the coin, indicating later use as a pendant.
