| Obverse description | Laureate, draped bust of Emperor Gordian III facing right, rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Moesian civic coinage. The emperor's curly hair is visible beneath the laurel wreath, with paludamentum draped over the left shoulder. The Greek imperial titulature legend surrounds the bust within a beaded border. The die work is typical of local Odessan engravers of the mid-third century AD. |

| Reverse description | Emperor Gordian III depicted as a mounted warrior on a galloping horse advancing to the right, his right arm raised and extended forward in a thrusting gesture with a spear. The horse is shown in full gallop with all four legs extended. The civic ethnic legend of Odessos is distributed around the field, enclosed within a dotted border. The composition reflects standard military equestrian iconography common to Moesian provincial bronzes of the Gordian period. |
