Obverse description Draped and cuirassed bust of the young Caesar Geta facing right, seen from the rear, with paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. The legend Λ ϹΕ ΓΕΤΑϹ ΚΑ runs around the periphery in Greek characters, identifying him by name and title. The portrait reflects the youthful features characteristic of Geta's early numismatic representations. The flan is irregular, as typical of provincial civic bronze coinage of Asia Minor.
