| Reverse description | A six-pointed or eight-pointed star enclosed within a filleted crescent, the horns of the crescent pointing upward, the fillets hanging downward at the tips. This astral symbol is a well-known type associated with the cult of the moon god Sin at Carrhae, rendered in bold relief appropriate to a small provincial bronze. The surrounding Greek colonial legend is partially legible around the periphery of the flan. |
