| Obverse description | Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Emperor Elagabalus facing right, seen from the rear, with the imperial paludamentum visible over the cuirass. The encircling Greek legend reads ΑΝΤΩΝΕΙΝΟϹ ΑΥΓ, identifying the emperor by his adopted dynastic name Antoninus Augustus.
