Reverse description A horse walking to the right occupies the central field, its body rendered with characteristic provincial workmanship. Behind the horse, a tall palm branch rises vertically, a symbol of victory and Macedonian civic pride. The encircling Greek legend of the mint name runs along the upper and lateral periphery of the coin, partially off-flan due to the irregular striking.
