A partial Greek imperial titulature legend runs around the periphery of the flan. The portrait exhibits the characteristic blunt features associated with Caracallan provincial issues from the eastern mints. |

| Opis rewersu | A filleted crescent, with horns pointing upward, enclosing a central rosette composed of seven pellets arranged in a circular pattern within the concave field. This lunar symbol is a distinctive civic emblem of Carrhae, reflecting the city's longstanding veneration of the moon god Sin. A partial Greek civic legend surrounds the type, and on some specimens a branch appears as an additional symbol in the field. The design is set within a dotted border on the irregular flan. |
