Obverse description Bare-headed and draped bust of Germanicus facing right, rendered in provincial style with modest relief. The effigy displays characteristic short hair and a strong profile typical of Julio-Claudian portraiture on Asian civic bronzes. A circular Greek legend surrounds the bust in the field. The die work is competent but somewhat rough, consistent with small-denomination provincial coinage of the Phrygian conventus issued under Caligula.
