The Greek magistrate legend ΜΕΝΑΝΔΡΟΣ ΠΑΡΡΑΣΙΟΥ (Menandros, son of Parrasios) is disposed around the portrait in the field. The style reflects the civic coinage traditions of the Lydian city of Tralles during the Augustan period. |
