The goddess is shown with carefully articulated drapery folds across the chest and shoulder. The reverse field is somewhat worn but preserves the essential iconographic elements of the divine huntress, a fitting patron deity for the city of Iasus in Caria. No legend appears on the reverse, the civic identity being expressed entirely on the obverse. |
