Reverse description Draped bust of Artemis facing right, depicted with her characteristic bow visible over the shoulder, rendered in the Hellenistic provincial tradition. The goddess is shown with carefully articulated drapery folds across the chest and shoulder. The reverse field is somewhat worn but preserves the essential iconographic elements of the divine huntress, a fitting patron deity for the city of Iasus in Caria. No legend appears on the reverse, the civic identity being expressed entirely on the obverse.
