| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Apollo facing right, rendered in the Hellenistic tradition characteristic of Ionian civic coinage. The laureate wreath is rendered with visible individual leaves atop the youthful head. The drapery falls over the left shoulder, and a laurel branch appears to the right of the bust in the field. The overall style reflects the provincial Greek coinage produced under Antoninus Pius at Phocaea. |
