| Beschrijving keerzijde | Bare head of Drusus Caesar facing left, rendered with short hair in a restrained, classicizing style consistent with Julio-Claudian provincial portraiture. A dotted border is partially visible around the circumference of the flan. The Greek legend ΔΡΟΥΣΟΣ ΚΑΙΣΑΡ ΠΡΥΜΝΗΣΣ surrounds the effigy, identifying the subject and the issuing city of Prymnessus in Phrygia. |

Prymnessus was a minor Phrygian city whose coins bearing Drusus's name place production almost certainly before his death in 23 AD — the sudden disgrace of his memory under Sejanus's influence would have ended any civic flattery promptly. The conventus of Synnada had limited mint activity, and bronzes of this small module from Prymnessus survive in very small numbers, suggesting a short or low-volume civic issue rather than a sustained series.
