| Obverse description | Bare head of Lucius Septimius Geta Caesar facing right, rendered in the provincial style typical of Bithynian civic coinage. The portrait displays youthful features with short hair, consistent with Geta's depiction as a young Caesar during the reign of Septimius Severus. The Greek legend surrounding the effigy identifies the subject by name and title. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show typical wear and patination associated with hammered provincial bronze coinage. |
