| Obverse description | Bare-headed, laureate bust of Geta facing right, draped at the shoulder, rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Ionian mint production of the Severan period. The legend encircles the portrait in Greek characters, reading ΑΥ Κ Π ϹΕ ΓΕΤΑϹ, identifying the emperor by his abbreviated titulature. The portrait displays youthful features consistent with Geta's numismatic iconography prior to his elevation to co-Augustus. The surface carries a dark green patina with areas of brown, typical of provincial bronze coinage from Asia Minor. |

| Reverse description | The distinctive cult statue of Artemis Leukophryene, the principal deity of Magnesia ad Maeandrum, depicted facing, in the characteristic xoanon pose with arms extended. The goddess is crowned by two small winged Nikai standing upon her outstretched arms, flanked on either side by an eagle. The ethnic legend ΜΑΓΝΗΤΩΝ is inscribed in the field or around the periphery, identifying the issuing civic authority. This reverse type is closely associated with the religious identity of Magnesia and appears consistently on the city's provincial bronze coinage of the imperial period. |
