| Obverse description | Bare laureate head of Emperor Nero facing right, rendered in the provincial style typical of Lydian civic coinage. The portrait displays the characteristic youthful features associated with Neronian portraiture of the mid-60s AD. The encircling legend ΝΕΡΩΝ ΚΑΙϹΑΡ is disposed around the effigy in Greek characters. The flan is slightly irregular, consistent with hammered provincial bronze production. |
