| 正面描述 | Laureate bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, with drapery visible on the left shoulder. The effigy is rendered in the characteristic Roman imperial style of the early 2nd century AD, with the laurel wreath denoting imperial and divine authority. The coin's small module and irregular flan result in a somewhat compressed portrait typical of Alexandrian provincial bronze coinage of this period. The surrounding field is largely plain, with no visible legend preserved on this example. |

Athribis was a nome in the Nile Delta, and nome coinage of this type was issued under Hadrian as part of a broader administrative articulation of Egyptian regional identity within the Roman provincial system. The "L ΙΑ" regnal year notation places this piece in year 11 of Hadrian's reign — 126/127 AD — a period when the emperor was himself traveling through Egypt, visiting Alexandria and initiating construction projects along the Nile.
