The legend is disposed around the bust in the field, partially visible due to wear. The personification is depicted with idealized youthful features and draped shoulders, consistent with the conventional representation of ΙΕΡΑ ΣΥΝΚΛΗΤΟΣ (the Sacred Senate) on Antonine-era provincial issues.

The city had long maintained its own coinage traditions under Roman oversight, and small bronzes of this module were the working currency of the Aeolian coastal towns — handled daily, not saved. The abbreviated ethnic ΜΥΡΙ is characteristic of Myrina's smaller denomination flans, where space simply ran out.
