| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Caracalla facing right, represented from behind with the paludamentum visible over the cuirass. The imperial effigy is rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Lydian civic coinage, with the laureate wreath clearly defined atop the head. The abbreviated legend ΑΝΤΩΝΕΙΝΟϹ runs in the field around the bust, identifying the emperor by his dynastic name Antoninus. |
