| Beschrijving keerzijde | A legionary vexillum (military standard) depicted facing, consisting of a rectangular cloth panel decorated with diagonal cross-hatching and suspended from a transverse bar atop a tall staff, surmounted by a small finial. To the left of the standard appears the Greek legend ΙΙΙ C and to the right Ρ S, likely denoting a cohort or unit designation associated with the Rhesaena garrison. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border. The field is flat and unadorned, consistent with the austere civic bronze coinage of Mesopotamian mints under the Severan dynasty. |
