| Obverse description | Laureate head of Caracalla facing right, rendered in the typical provincial style of the Mesopotamian mint; below the portrait, an eagle stands to the right with wings spread, its head turned to the right, serving as an imperial symbol of divine authority. The legend, partially visible along the upper periphery, is worn and difficult to fully read. The flan is irregular and compact, consistent with provincial hammered coinage of the Severan period. |
