| Beschrijving voorzijde | Laureate head of Caracalla facing right, with youthful features and short beard visible in the lower relief. The portrait is rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Mesopotamian civic coinage, with the laurel wreath indicated along the crown of the head. A Greek legend surrounds the effigy in the field, partially visible along the right and upper periphery. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | A conical baitylos — the sacred cult stone of the moon-god Sin venerated at Carrhae — depicted centrally, decorated with horizontal ribbing or fillet bands indicating the wrapping of a sacred cloth. Surmounting the baitylos is a prominent crescent with horns pointing upward, a hallmark lunar symbol of the Carrhae mint. The Greek colonial legend of the metropolis surrounds the type in the field, identifying the issuing city. |
