Obverse description Bare laureate head of Emperor Hadrian facing right, rendered in the typical provincial style of the Alexandrian mint. The portrait displays the characteristic short beard and laurel wreath associated with Hadrian's later coinage. The flan is irregular and the surface shows the coarse, somewhat crude execution typical of small Alexandrian bronze issues of this period. No legend is present, consistent with the smallest denomination oboloi of the series.
