Obverse description Bare laureate head of Emperor Hadrian facing right, with slight drapery visible on the left shoulder. The portrait is rendered in the provincial Egyptian style characteristic of Alexandrian bronze coinage, with a naturalistic but somewhat simplified treatment of the imperial effigy. The flan is irregular, as typical of hammered provincial issues of this period.
