Obverse description Veiled and draped bust of the deified Faustina I facing right, rendered in the provincial style typical of Arabian civic coinage. The effigy shows the empress with a veil drawn over her hair, consistent with her posthumous divine status. A Greek legend encircles the bust in the field, identifying the subject as the deified Faustina. The flan is small and irregular, with modest relief characteristic of small Bostraean bronze issues.
