Reverse description A hawk standing to the right, rendered in the Egyptian hieratic tradition associated with the god Horus, occupying the central field of the flan. The bird is depicted with wings folded and tail feathers clearly modelled. Surrounding the central type is the Greek inscription ΕΠΤΑΚωΜ referencing the nome of Heptakomia, with the regnal year notation L ΙΑ (year 11) also present in the field. The reverse design reflects the strong syncretic blending of Pharaonic and Roman imagery characteristic of Alexandrian provincial coinage.
