Year 11 of Hadrian's reign coincides with his extended tour of the eastern provinces — he arrived in Egypt in late 126 AD, and the Alexandrian mint was unusually active during this period, producing a wide range of small bronzes likely intended to supply coinage for local transactional use during the imperial visit and its aftermath.
