| 背面描述 | A dagger or machaira depicted vertically in the center of the field, with a crossguard and pommel clearly articulated. The regnal date legend L ΕΝ (Year 9) is distributed in the field to the left and right of the type, referencing the ninth regnal year of Hadrian in the Alexandrian dating system. The coin is struck on a small, irregularly shaped flan with a beaded border. |

Year 9 of Hadrian's reign corresponds to 124–125 AD, a period when the emperor was actively touring the eastern provinces. Alexandria's mint produced an enormous volume of small bronzes during his Egyptian visit of 130 AD and in anticipation of it, but the L ΕΝ (year 9) pieces predate that visit entirely — struck well before Hadrian set foot in Egypt, when his presence there was still years away.
