| Beschrijving voorzijde | Eight-rayed star occupying the central field, with alternating elongated and pointed rays radiating symmetrically from a central boss. The design is rendered in low relief in a plain field, consistent with the utilitarian style of Alexandrian bronze coinage of the early Imperial period. |

Regnal year 32 of Augustus corresponds to 2/3 AD, placing this piece among the very last Alexandrian bronzes struck in his name before his death in 14 AD. Egypt was administered as a personal imperial province — senators were barred from even entering without explicit permission — and its coinage answered directly to the emperor rather than the Senate, which is why Alexandrian bronzes carry regnal years rather than the consular or tribunician dating used elsewhere in the empire.
