Obverse description Laureate head of the Emperor Hadrian facing right, rendered in low relief with characteristic short beard and laurel wreath. The numeral Ι appears in the right field, serving as a regnal year indicator. The flan is irregular and slightly ragged at the periphery, consistent with the small hammered provincial bronzes of Alexandrian mint production. No surrounding legend is present, the portrait occupying the majority of the coin's obverse field.
