| Aanvullende informatie |
Gaba, a Hellenized city in the Jezreel Valley granted settlement rights by Herod the Great for retired soldiers, dated its civic era from around 61 BC. The year ΡΜΒ — 142 of that era — places this striking squarely in 83/84 AD, during Domitian's reign. Gaba's bronze issues are among the smallest and least documented of the Judaean civic series, and individual specimens rarely surface in excavation records with reliable provenance.
