| Reverse description | A laurel wreath encircles the central device, within which a plain Latin cross is prominently displayed. A globe surmounts the cross above the wreath, a common late Roman Christian votive symbol. The overall composition is typical of the small votive bronze issues struck at Carthage under the usurper Bonifacius circa 423–425, emphasizing Christian imperial imagery. The flan is irregular and the relief is low, consistent with the hasty production of this emergency coinage type. |
