Obverse description Laureate head of Vespasian facing right, rendered in the realistic portraiture style characteristic of Flavian-era bronze coinage. The effigy displays the emperor's distinctive physiognomy with a broad, fleshy face. The peripheral Latin legend IMP CAESAR VESPASIAN AVGVSTVS runs around the bust, partially legible due to heavy surface corrosion and wear. The flan is irregular and the surfaces exhibit extensive patination consistent with provincial bronze production.
