Reverse description Central device comprising a shankha (conch shell) depicted in full, flanked symmetrically on either side by a trishula (trident), all rendered in low relief against a plain field. The tridents stand upright with their characteristic three-pronged heads clearly articulated, serving as Shaiva and Vaishnava dynastic symbols emblematic of the Vishnukundin rulers. A radiating linear border encircles the design, visible around much of the periphery. The flan surface is heavily encrusted with blue-green patina.
