| Reverse description | Plain, largely uninscribed reverse with a rough, uneven surface characteristic of hammered Magha dynasty copper issues. A faint raised device, possibly a symbol or secondary motif, is discernible in the upper and central fields, though heavily worn and indistinct. The flan edges are irregular and uneven, consistent with the crudely cast and hammered fabric of this series. The surface retains areas of brown and green patination typical of excavated ancient Indian bronzes. |

| Additional information |
Sivamagha I founded the Magha dynasty in the Gangetic plain region, with the dynasty's control centered around Kaushambi and parts of what is now Uttar Pradesh. The Maghas remain poorly documented in Sanskrit literary sources and are known primarily through their coinage and a handful of inscriptions, making numismatic evidence the principal record of their administrative reach. Dating individual rulers within the dynasty carries genuine uncertainty — the 220–225 range is a scholarly approximation, not an established fact.
