正面描述 Mithuna (loving couple) depicted in relief: a standing female figure to the left, bare-breasted and facing right, joined in an embracing gesture with a standing male figure to the right. The two figures clasp hands at center, rendered in the bold, archaic style characteristic of post-Mauryan punch-marked and cast coinage. A river symbol or wavy line device appears in the lower field beneath the figures, likely representing a sacred river such as the Shipra.

背面描述 The classic Ujjain symbol occupies the reverse field, consisting of a cross or wheel device with four radiating arms, each terminating in a circle. Within each of the orbs a taurine (crescent-and-circle) symbol is individually incused, a distinctive regional motif closely associated with the Ujjain mint tradition. The entire device is rendered in low relief on the roughly squared flan, consistent with the cast or die-struck production methods of the Malwa region during the post-Mauryan period.
