| 背面描述 | The classic Ujjain symbol occupies the reverse field, consisting of a cross or wheel device with four radiating arms, each terminating in a circle. Within each of the orbs a taurine (crescent-and-circle) symbol is individually incused, a distinctive regional motif closely associated with the Ujjain mint tradition. The entire device is rendered in low relief on the roughly squared flan, consistent with the cast or die-struck production methods of the Malwa region during the post-Mauryan period. |
