Æ Unit - Bhumaka

Bhumaka is one of the earliest identifiable Western Satrap rulers, known almost entirely through his coins — no contemporary textual source names him directly. He likely governed in the late 1st or early 2nd century CE, preceding Nahapana, and the dynastic relationship between them remains debated. Copper units attributable to him are considerably scarcer than his silver issues, probably reflecting low-volume local production rather than a systematic bronze coinage program.
