| Beschrijving voorzijde | Domed temple or stupa depicted in profile, rendered in low relief with a series of vertical pillar-like elements forming the base or plinth; a trident-axe (triśūla-parashu) symbol positioned to the right of the architectural motif. The design is characteristic of the indigenous die-cutting style of the Audumbara series, with bold, schematic forms typical of early northwestern Indian coinage. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
The Audumbara were a tribal people settled in the Kangra valley region of the western Himalayas, and their coinage is among the earliest attributed to any hill tribe of the Indian subcontinent. These anonymous issues — lacking a ruler's name — predate the named Audumbara series associated with chiefs such as Dharaghosa and Sivadasa, suggesting an early phase of monetary adoption before dynastic identity was projected onto coinage. At 1.30g, this falls at the lighter end of the known weight range for the type.
